About My Hoa Food Market

My Hoa Food Market is one of the asian grocery stores listed in Houston, Texas. The business is registered at 13201 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Google also lists it under supermarket, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Houston with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Texas may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach My Hoa Food Market at (281) 498-6699; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is myhoafoodmarket.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 1,679 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Large variety of foods. You can find All kind fresh, frozen, canned. Saw some type of vegetable and fruits Didn't know existed. Lot of fish. My absolute favorite is boiled fresh peanuts stored at checkout counter, smell so good you can't resist sold by the pound ($3+ per pound can't remember exactly). Well kept housekeeping wise however need some improvement on fresh produce section, removing spoiled items from the stands and keep with out of location items. It's also good idea to kind rearrange the front entrance open up spaces and more lights so that have a clear view of shelves and axles. Greaful to have you in our joyful H-Town

Today I bought 3 plates of cooked food, one of the plates was nothing but bones… when I called a manager by the name of Stephanie she stated that it’s the cut of meat. β€œNot true” so the person arranging the plate should see that the plate needs to come with rice veggies and MEAT not a plate full of bones.. maybe if I had a dog i would have been able to feed my dog! not a good experience today!

My go-to for fried tilapia, Indomie, and Asian treats, but the place always smells off and hasn’t been updated in over a decade. They could do much better with the money they make. The Asian bakery and pho spot in the same plaza are convenient, but the sewage issue makes the whole area reekβ€”making prepared food items questionable

This is an Asian grocery store. I shop here every week for sea food and produce. They have a variety of fresh green vegetables. They fry your fish for free.

This supermarket is definitely a Vietnamese specialty store, offering an array of unique, hard-to-find Vietnamese items that make it stand out. They even have a small fast-food section serving barbecue and roasted duck, which is very convenient. If you’re looking for exotic fruits, this is the place to be. My Hoa Food Market has been a staple in the community for years, but this was my first time visiting as the Chinese Lunar New Year approaches. The festive atmosphere is evident, with many people shopping for New Year essentials. One standout is the abundance of 菊花 (chrysanthemums) for sale, symbolizing prosperity and fortune. They’re fresh, vibrant, and easy to grabβ€”perfect for celebrating the season. However, the store does show its ageβ€”it’s not the cleanest or most modern place. The vegetable section seemed a bit sparse, possibly because I visited on a busy weekend. That said, you can find extremely affordable meats in certain sections, which is a great draw for budget-conscious shoppers. For holiday treats or everyday ingredients, My Hoa is a treasure trove of Vietnamese snacks, Asian sauces, seafood, and meats. It’s a one-stop shop for anyone preparing traditional meals or
